Founded in 2018, UIT Growth Equity was initially started as a vehicle to allow our partners, Faircourt Asset Management and the Robinson Sauder Family Office ("RSFO"), the ability to invest in high-growth companies before their initial public offering. Recognizing investor demand for pre-public growth equity along with the ability to source more equity than anticipated, the partners and founders decided to offer the opportunity to other accredited investors.
Today, UIT Growth Equity is the growth equity investment arm of Faircourt and RSFO and is focused on sourcing and investing in middle to late stage, venture capital backed private companies across a range of rapidly growing industries. Our directors and officers have extensive experience in the private and venture investment industry, collectively holding over 125 years of experience.

Co Founder/Managing Partner
Caroline co-founded UIT Growth Equity in 2018 with the goal of bringing unique investment opportunities to Canadian wealth advisers and their clients. Caroline has over 20 years’ experience in the financial markets, both in US and Canada. She is also a member of The 51 Ventures, and Women in Capital Markets.
Patrick Robinson, CPA/CA
Chairman
Founder of RSFO, a private family institutional investment firm based in Vancouver, BC. Pat was previously responsible for the BC retail investment advisory arm of BMO Nesbitt Burns and has over 28 years of investment banking experience.
Douglas Waterson, CPA/CA,CFA
CFO
Mr. Waterson is a CPA and experienced portfolio manager, bringing over 25 years of experience in wealth management, product development, and financial management to UIT Growth Equity. Mr. Waterson co-founded Faircourt Asset Management in 2002 and has structured and managed numerous innovative products for Canadian investors, raising in excess of $1 billion.
Charles Taerk
President
Founder of Faircourt in 2003, and since then has been focused on the design and management of unique, tax efficient investment funds for Canadian investors. Prior to launching Faircourt, Charles was Head of Investment Banking for Charles Schwab Canada and a member of its Executive Committee.
